Kristen is the first person Cady meets on her first day of public school, when she confused Kristen as the homeroom teacher. Cady nearly sits where her boyfriend would before Janis stopped her. Later in the movie, she becomes a friend of Regina George in their senior year, after Regina joined the lacrosse team to channel her rage.
