Kälteen Bars are a Swedish-made nutrition bars designed for weight-gain. The wrapper says on it, "Gå upp i vikt," which means "to bulk up / gain weight" in Swedish. According to Cady, they have an ingredient that is currently illegal in America.
"Why are you eating a Kalteen bar?"

Use for SabotageEdit
Cady would accurately describe them to Janis and Damian, "They're these weird Swedish nutrition bars. My mom used to give them to the kids in Africa to help them gain weight." In the following scene, Cady recommends those bars to Regina, saying they will help her burn all the calories and continuously lose weight. Throughout the later part of the film, Regina can be seen eating the bars whenever she gets the chance, eventually gaining so much weight that she could not even fit into her Spring Fling dress anymore.
In the deleted scene "112, Excellent", Cady give her box of Kälteen Bars to Janis.
In the deleted scene "Regina in Bed," Mrs. George enters the room with a box of Kälteen Bars as recommended by her doctor due to her injury for the bus that hit her.
In Mean Girls: Return of the PlasticsEdit
Kälteen Bars are used as a power-up in the game. They cost 75 Candy Grams at the student store. When used, the player's cliques will attack much stronger for a limited time.
