Jason is a character in Mean Girls. He is portrayed by Daniel Desanto.
Jason is a student at North Shore High School. He is part of the Varsity Jock clique.
Gretchen's had a massive crush on Jason, and he took her out on a date as she was so popular, but he does go to the Old Orchard Mall and Cady's get-together with Taylor Wedell. Karen Smith says he does this to make Gretchen jealous. Jason was seen making out with Gretchen in Cady’s bathroom. After the bathroom incident he and Gretchen begin a relationship.

On the very first day of this school year, Jason encounters Cady, jokingly asking her if her 'muffin is buttered'. This annoyed Regina, who told him he's a skeez, that he should go home and shave his back. Regina also scolded him for taking Gretchen on a date and then forgetting to call her.
Jason later appeared in the audience of the Winter Talent Show, where he, along with his friends, made fun of Damian's performance. When the Plastics take the stage and Gretchen turns the CD player on, he and Gretchen wave and exchange a romantic glance. The Plastics then perform their signature Jingle Bell Rock dance, Gretchen accidentally kicked the radio into his face.
Jason has also said that Cady might even be hotter than Regina.
At Cady’s get-together, Jason brought Taylor Wedell with him, Gretchen sees him with Taylor and gets angry as she realises that the only thing she and Jason had was a little fling. However, when Gretchen trips over and hurts herself at the party, Jason does help Gretchen up and let’s her talk to him, abandoning Taylor. Later, Cady goes to the bathroom to find Jason making out with Gretchen. Jason risks a glance at Cady, to which Gretchen slaps him to teach him a lesson for the way he treats her.
Later, Gretchen becomes Jason’s girlfriend.
